My sakura & rose duo partner, Sakurako Kanemitsu, are I are debuting a new piano/voice recital program at Berklee College of Music on Friday, February 6, 2026 and at UC Davis on Thursday, February 12, 2026. The program titled "Ekphrasis: Music in Conversation with Art" explores the influences of visual art on musical composition and features works by Ryan Suleiman, Arnold Schoenberg, Francis Poulenc, Anne Phillips, and Stephen Sondheim.
