About the Event
Rose performs works by Claudio Monteverdi and the world premiere of Aaron Jay Myer's "Unrest" at the Concord Conservatory of Music. This concert, named Music & Rebels, celebrates Concord's contribution to the American Revolution by showcasing music from both historical and modern musical rebels. CCM faculty speaker Jackson Carruthers will recount how each featured musical selection broke with the conventions of its time, launching the artform and its audience into the next era.
