About the Event
“Signal, Noise, and Voice” is a concert featuring guest soprano Rose Hegele and a program of music for voice and electronics, incorporating both fixed media and live processing. This program features a world premiere by Inga Chinilina as well as works by Raven Chacon, Kamala Sankaram, Deniz Aslan, Tanner Jones, Nikhil Singh, and Rose herself. Programmatic themese include mythology, reclaiming the agency of the human voice, and mediating between human and mechanical bodies.
This event takes place in Grant Recital Hall. Admission is free and open to the public.
